Meet Colleen Lindberg, OneOme’s Human Resources Manager and our first Employee of the Year award recipient! As HR Manager, Colleen has a broad range of responsibilities - from benefits and payroll administration to new hire onboarding, company-wide training, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and HR compliance. To say the least, Colleen is a crucial member of our team and exemplifies OneOme’s values.
This year threw a wrench in normal operations, but Colleen stepped up to the plate by effectively managing OneOme’s transition to a virtual workforce. She led development of processes, procedures, and communication around OneOme's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the twin goals of maintaining organizational effectiveness and keeping her colleagues safe. In her day-to-day work, Colleen is inspired by her peers and colleagues here at OneOme. In her words, “Working with so many passionate, hardworking, and genuine people truly is what makes my job so rewarding. Every day my peers and colleagues are what motivate me towards making OneOme a great place to work.”
While 2020 has been a crazy time to be managing HR, Colleen’s focus remains on OneOme’s vision and values. She most appreciates “having the opportunity to work for an organization who is truly making a difference in the healthcare industry and having a positive impact on so many people's lives.”
